Golden Hour Skincare

Golden Hour is easily the best skincare studio in Austin. All of their products are free of chemicals, yet work like an actual dream. Yay for natural products that actually work- and work well! The atmosphere is very intentional and relaxing, super clean and warm. Val, the owner, is very passionate about what she does and supporting the people she hires to make sure everyone is up to date on the newest treatments and techniques. Val usually does my facials, but I volunteered to have her newest hire, Mackenzie, do it this time under Val’s observation as she was learning a new treatment and needed someone to practice on. 2 things: 1) Mackenzie did an incredible job! Thoughtful and thorough, she is new to Golden Hour but clearly not new to her craft. Highly recommend her! 2) The best businesses are the ones where the staff is always training, always learning, always growing. Val has created that environment at Golden Hour and it reflects in the services, team, services and overall experience. Basically just go book an appointment if you want your face to look snatched without harsh chemicals in a vibey space with talented folks🙂

I had a skincare consult with Morgan and she was excellent! She answered all my questions and recommended a routine that I’m loving so far. And she was so kind to drop off the products I ordered at my place that same day, after she got off work, because my consultation was virtual so I would have had to pick them up or wait for them to be shipped. Going the extra mile - quite literally - was totally unexpected but very much appreciated! My experience with Morgan makes me excited about really embracing this new skincare routine and booking more services with Golden Hour.

I’ve been seeing Katlyn at golden hour for a year now and my appointments with her are always the highlight of my week. I started seeing her as a face reality acne bootcamp client and the way my skin TRANSFORMED was absolutely incredible. I went from having significant acne to being so clear that when I meet people now they’re shocked when I show them my before pictures. Katlyn is such a skilled, knowledgeable esthetician who knows the acne struggle in and out and always makes me feel so safe and comfortable. It also helps that golden hour has a fantastic atmosphere that is so warm and relaxing and the whole team of women who work there are so inviting and kind. I absolutely LOVE this spa and I recommend golden hour & Katlyn to everyone I meet!

As a visitor in Austin I was fortunate to get an appointment at "Golden Hour" I've had many facials but was more than thrilled with the custom facial I recieved from Bernadette. My skin feels fantastic and her massage was magic! I also took some great advice on a few products that has continually enhanced and changed my skin routine! Wonderful experience!!!

Sydney customized a whole facial based on my specific needs and gave me a fantastic service that I would recommend to anybody who wants to indulge in some self care. It was my first time getting any sort of skin treatment done and I would definitely do it again.
