Vickmay Skin & Body Spa

I have been a client of Anne’s for many years. I see her at both locations - Spa La Vie on Rainey and Vickmay Skin & Body. She is amazing!!!!

Such a great experience!! I read a multitude of reviews & took the time to read the negative ones too as one can never be too cautious. This experience blew me away! The office I went to was so cute! It had a welcoming garden with a beautiful French inspired theme. The staff, phenomenal! I got to meet Vickmay herself and was offered a beverage less than a minute of me being there. I came with a Groupon deal and added a few more units to make sure I got a full correction. I read several reviews about them not being so kind to people with Groupons, just want to say that it is NOT true! I got treated very well. My injector was amazing and had a gentle hand. She was also very communicative and made sure to ask what my wanted results were. Amazing!

Very disappointed in my experience. I had purchased a Groupon for Dysport, and I arrived 15 minutes early for my 2:15pm appointment and no one was at the spa. The service provider arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment. I went in and was told to wait in the lobby - the space itself is welcoming a comfortable, so I wasn't too upset to wait a few minutes. I waited for 20 more minutes and watched him working with another client on an IV drip. When he finally came to address me, he was very kind and friendly but didn't seem knowledgeable about how to check me in or have me fill out forms and was back and forth on the phone with the owner to figure it out. I was then told to wait in the lobby again to receive a phone call from a nurse. During my time waiting, he did not interact with me, and I could see him still working with the woman getting the IV drip. At 2:55, I spoke to the provider and told him I would need to leave by 3:15 because I had only allotted an hour to be at the appointment (in the past, I've never had a Botox/Dysport appointment that took more than 20 minutes). At 3:05, a full 50 minutes after my appointment time, the service provider decided to help me without my phone consultation with the nurse since she still hadn't called. I didn't feel like there was much of a discussion about what I wanted, what I'd had done in the past or what was available to me with the Groupon I had purchased. With all the time I had spent waiting, I would've liked him to have taken the time to discuss with me my desired outcome. I was made to feel rushed through the service when he finally did take me back for my treatment. I appreciate how kind the service provider was when he did interact with me, but the overall experience felt disorganized and not particularly thorough. I would not go back.

Absolutely the best Medispa in Austin. Vickmay has created a beautiful, warm and inviting spa- perfect for girls trip or just to treat yourself. I have had both botox and fillers- everytime a natural look and it lasts. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend. Will keep coming back.
