Austin Regional Clinic: ARC Round Rock

I had a very positive experience at Austin Regional Clinic in Round Rock. From the moment I walked in, the girl who checked me in was incredibly sweet, kind, and very patient with me since I wasn’t feeling well. Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name, but she made the check-in process much easier for me. Jerome, the PA, was also excellent. He was very patient, spoke to me with kindness, and took the time to make sure I understood everything. He truly did a great job. Dr. Cantu was absolutely wonderful as well. She was sweet, funny, and made me feel comfortable and well cared for during my visit. She was very thorough throughout the whole process and made sure all of my concerns were addressed. Overall, the staff made me feel welcomed and cared for, even though I was feeling ill. I truly appreciate the kindness and professionalism everyone showed during my visit.

Tanya was incredibly helpful, professional, and kind throughout the entire process. She took the time to answer all of my questions, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. Her patience, knowledge, and positive attitude made the experience so much easier. I truly appreciate all of her help.

I usually have a great experience at this location, but I was disappointed by the passive-aggressive interaction this time with the Medical Assistant. I scheduled the appointment because my ears felt clogged and did not realize an ear lavage might require a different visit type or additional scheduling considerations. If it wasn’t something that could be accommodated during my appointment, I would have been completely understanding and happy to reschedule. What bothered me was the repeated comments about the schedule being full and that ear cleanings aren’t typically done, which came across as passive-aggressive. I explained that I can usually manage earwax buildup on my own, but was having difficulty this time and wanted to make sure there wasn’t another issue causing the symptoms. In response, the Medical Assistant made another comment about needing to clear out my ear before knowing what was going on, which further reinforced that impression. I would have preferred a straightforward explanation of any limitations and the options available to me. The issue wasn’t that the service couldn’t be provided, but the way the situation was communicated.

It took me a while to find a really great allergist and asthma doctor. Dr Marpu is really good.! I mean Really good! This type of person you would send your best friend and favorite sister to . The staff is really great. I have nothing but positive things to say.

ARC has never disappointed myself or my family on any visit we’ve ever had.. They have always taken care of my family and myself and have helped us with whatever needs we have. Highly recommend any of their locations.
