My appointment with Dr. Gomez was awesome. Check in was easy and I was called back on time! I had lots of questions with the doctor understood and was very helpful! The staff was very personable and made me feel valued!

My experience at adult family center was quite different. Instead of the usual way of doing things, Dr Eklund was ready and had my current hospital records with her. So she was ready to give me answers to my concerns as well as providing solutions to help me in my recovery. Dr Eklund pointed out things that I should do differently. This visit was very helpful for me to get well.

I normally see.Dr. Angela Eklund, and she is amazing. She provides gentle but firm guidance. She never seems rushed and makes sure all my questions and concerns are addressed. Today, I was.feeling awful, and I got an appointment same day with her NP, Billy. Billy's MA was so thorough, sweet, and compassionate. Billy was very thorough and explained everything. The front office staff were very efficient, courteous, and friendly. I felt well-cared for and would highly recommend Georgetown Center for Adult Medicine.

The Doctors and their teams are talented, kind and friendly human beings. Everyone there has their job, and they do it well, and with a smile. From the moment you come through the door, everyone is friendly. I am extremely happy and fortunate to have them as my medical team. Complaint Regarding Access to Care, Office Management, and Patient Rights I am submitting this complaint to raise concerns regarding access to care, office management practices, and patient rights at this primary care practice. An appointment for my father, a new patient, was scheduled approximately seven months in advance. The appointment was later canceled by the practice, and when we contacted the office to reschedule, we were informed that the next available appointment was an additional four months out. No alternative options were offered, including waitlists, interim care, overflow scheduling, or weekend clinics. This effectively results in nearly a year-long delay for a patient to establish primary care after a cancellation initiated by the practice. There appeared to be no triage process, escalation pathway, or contingency plan, even given the patient’s age and dependency on assistance for medical coordination. This raises concerns about whether the practice has adequate staffing, scheduling policies, or leadership oversight to ensure reasonable access to care. When I spoke with the office manager to address these concerns, the interaction was unprofessional. She was combative, unable to outline any procedure or solution, and stated she was not prepared to handle the situation. Additionally, despite the practice being aware that I am my father’s Medical Power of Attorney (MPOA) and assist with his medical matters, the office later contacted my father directly and informed him that they felt he “would not be best as a patient here.” This communication occurred without involving me and raises concerns regarding respect for patient rights and proper communication protocols. My concerns are not directed toward the medical providers themselves, but rather toward office leadership, administrative practices, and systemic failures that impact patient access, communication, and continuity of care. I believe these issues warrant review to determine whether corrective action, policy changes, or further oversight is necessary.
