This has been the most frustrating experience with a doctor. Dr Esparza was really nice initially but it’s been nearly impossible to get him to send prescriptions to my pharmacy at a reasonable period, leaving me without necessary medication for days. It’s like once you pay for your appointment, he stops caring about your health. He just will not respond for days no matter how often you call and speak to his support staff or message him on the patient portal. It feels like a failure to provide a duty of care and is really disappointing.

Dr. Esparza has good knowledge on the things he speaks about & has helped properly diagnose and treat anything I’ve gone to him for. He will listen to any concerns you have during your visit however, the office is maybe short staffed because it is hard to get a reply most times. On some occasions it’s felt like the only way you can get a response is if you make another appointment, on one instance I had been trying to get a refill for my medication for over a week, alongside Walgreens requesting it, the office was non responsive & had its voicemail full. Just something to consider when booking

Dr.Esparza has truly changed my life. On my first visit, I was hypertensive and had high blood pressure. A chronic problem I’ve had for years. Every other doctor wanted to put me on blood pressure meds. After years of going to different doctors at BSW and Ascension network clinics, I decided to give Persona Healthcare a try. For context, I’ve always been an active person, but I always gained weight quickly, and coming from an obese family it wasn’t simple for me to lose the weight and keep it off. Dr.Esparza educated me on GLP-1 and got me started. Within two months I had lost 30 pounds. I started my journey at 260 lbs and my initial goal weight is 175lbs, I am currently at 184lbs. It's been 10 months since my first visit. My weight loss has continued and I haven’t stayed on GLP as we started it as a jump start. Even after being off them I have continued losing weight and my blood pressure has significantly decreased. Dr.Esparza and Meghan at the front desk are truly wonderful. They have helped me and now even my wife has transitioned to Persona for her PCP. She has never liked doctors and has a phobia of clinics. With Vincent and Meghan, she has had a great experience.

very very nice doctor! We are Asian so we are picky about doctors, this guy is so nice and works with us so easy to talk to and since we dont have insurance he gives us cash option to pay. I mean this is a very good doctor compared to the insurance acceptance only doctor. This man seems to truley care about his work and taking good care of people not for just money but pride and service.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Esparza today. I could not be happier! He was patient, truly interested and most of all pragmatic. He, more than most physicians, understands that if one has a quantity of life but no quality that it is difficult to live a good and happy life. He was pleasant, professional and he has a great sense of humor. I'm just sorry that it has taken me so long to find him. He is a breath of fresh air in an industry too often filled with staleness.
