I recently visited St. David's Medical Center and had a positive experience overall. From the moment I arrived, the staff were professional and treated me with kindness and respect. The check-in process was straightforward, and I didn't feel lost or overwhelmed. The facility was clean and well maintained, which helped make the visit more comfortable. The doctors and nurses took the time to answer my questions and explain things clearly. I appreciated that they didn't seem rushed and made an effort to keep me informed. Hospitals are never places people particularly want to spend time in, but the care I received made the experience easier. Overall, I felt well looked after and would feel comfortable returning here if I needed medical care in the future.
My wife was admitted to ER due to aneurysm rupture in December and stayed at the hopspital for 3 weeks. The treatment and care was top-notched - After 12 more days in inpatient rehab she was back to being independent. No outpatient rehab was needed! I know this is quite an exceptional case and I thank God for that but a lot of credits go to the skilful doctors their medical teams for staying on top of things! I also stayed with my wife through those 3 weeks because I am retired and I know decisions could come quickly. Based on my observation and experience, everyone put my wife's welfare as their high priority - treatment, testing, recovery, comfort, etc. Everyone working in the hospital seemed to be wearing a smile, which is very important for the patient, her caregivers and visitors. Special thanks to the wonderful nurses who did above and beyond in taking care of my wife including Becca, Bobbi, Jiliane, Jordana, Madie, Meg, Max... The hosptial is conveniently located by I-35 and within very short distance from a lot of amenties. The facility was very well maintained and clean, expecially the ICU on the 5th floor. I was very happy that I was able to stay with my wife comfortably on the sitting couch or lounge chair. Wifi was very stable, enabling me to stay connected with families and friends. No one likes hospital foods but the food here has certainly changed my impression. They tried very hard to impress - Lots of choices, beautiful plating, Keeping texture of the food, etc. And they were serious in sticking with the patient's diet restriction. The only down side was the portion seemed to be a little overly generous, causing food waste. Finally, I have to point out that our visitors and I all love the free parking for seniors! Please keep that policy going! Thank you, St David's Medical Center!
Went in for a SVT ablation. Not really knowing what to expect I put myself in the hands of my doctors and the hospital. When I woke up after the procedure I felt as if nothing happened and felt great. I had no complications and had a great experience in the hospital. The doctors and staff were remarkable. Everyone were great and knew their jobs well. Everyone was kind and caring. Thank you all I love St David's.
I gave birth to my daughter at this hospital on May 8, 2026, and I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the entire medical staff. Every nurse who took care of me during my stay — and there were four of them, to be exact — was incredibly kind, attentive, and compassionate. They always took the time to answer my questions thoroughly and made me feel safe, heard, and supported every step of the way. I truly felt that help was always there whenever I needed it. Dr. Kelly Palmer is an exceptional professional and truly meant to be a doctor. She assessed the situation quickly and calmly, and together we came to the right decision — moments later, my daughter was born. The postpartum staff were just as caring and thoughtful. They checked on both me and my baby every 30–40 minutes and made sure we were comfortable and well cared for at all times. A very special thank you to the lactation consultants for their patience, kindness, and guidance. I honestly don’t think I would have managed breastfeeding without their help. Thank you to this hospital for giving me such a positive experience. My labor was far from easy, but thanks to the incredible staff, I went through it as gently and peacefully as possible under the circumstances.
A level of care that I’ve never experienced at a hospital before. From registration with Eric and then preop to recovery to the floor the care was unmatched. Making you feel as comfortable as possible in a situation you really don’t want to be in. Dr. Gallinghouse is awesome And his entire team. Melissa in preop was amazing And Callie in recovery was great And my main evening nurse on the 6th floor Sebastian & Jamie and the entire team was amazing. Pamela the day nurse was nice too. Just could not get over the level of care they give here of going above and beyond. The Hospital and the heart healthy food was great. Pre-care getting me here and set up was done by Jade Brown And she went above and beyond . Cindy Williams make sure we had options of where to stay and my preop and postop care that would be needed. Everyone Just absolutely amazing. Food wise: The heart healthy chicken enchiladas was great along with the sugar free cheesecake yum! It was my favorite of the food I had there but it was all really good.
