Hello St. David’s, I sincerely hope this message is reviewed, because I want to recognize one of your nurses for the outstanding care she provided. This is not a complaint in any way — this is pure praise. RN Jaimee H. was absolutely fantastic. She was professional, intelligent, compassionate, and clearly skilled at what she does. She made me feel at ease during my visit and showed a level of care that truly stood out. I was in the ER on July 16th between approximately 12:00 PM and 5:30 PM, and I was discharged around 5:30 PM. During that time, I noticed how hard Jaimee was working. Even when things seemed stressful and busy, she continued to show patience, dedication, and kindness. She is the type of nurse every patient hopes to have — someone who is not only excellent at her job, but also makes people feel seen, heard, and cared for. Her customer care, professionalism, and dedication deserve recognition. In my opinion, Jaimee H. is someone worth keeping around, appreciating, and rewarding. Nurses like her make a real difference. Thank you for taking the time to read this. And to anyone who may feel nervous about going to the ER, I can honestly say that having a nurse like Jaimee H. makes the experience much easier. She provided true care, comfort, and confidence when it mattered.

The folks were kind and very professional. I was in and out fairly quickly. Its a large campus. Good thing I was in a power chair. I wish there was a downloadable map online. The number of disabled parking spots was lacking. The access to medical records online was a plus. Their after treatment communications were wonderful. Over all I was pleased.

I had a Watchman heart procedure that was a 5 Star experience. The calls ahead of time to go over it was reassuring of the care that would follow. The room at St. David’s as an outpatient, is First Class. My wife was able to wait in my room in comfort. The procedure itself was easy and flawless. I awoke a few hours later and was able to order a nice lunch. I had no pain or complication, and after 10 days I can say it’s great to have this preventive and potentially life saving Watchman procedure. St. David’s is a fantastic hospital in care, and quality.

After serious heart surgery, I have spent the majority of the last four months with the staff at the RRMC Cardiac Rehad facility. They were so much more than just staff. They are caring and compassionate professionals invested in the success of their patients. I was more than a name to them and it showed every day I was in their care. Thank you for a wonderful experience and making it a place I was motivated and wanting to be. I will miss everyone there. Thank you Alex, Mallory, Jane, Amy, Karen, Pat...you are all great!

I had a terrible experience with the birth of my first child at this facility. The only person I can genuinely thank was my nurse, Jennifer, who showed compassion and kindness during an incredibly vulnerable time. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Helio Zapata was the complete opposite. I found him to be extremely lacking in empathy and support throughout my pregnancy and delivery. I ultimately had a C-section, and I was left feeling as though my concerns and preferences were never truly considered. I was also disappointed by the equipment and level of prenatal care provided at Lone Star Circle of Care. It often felt outdated, and aside from listening to my baby’s heartbeat, there seemed to be very little monitoring or reassurance during my pregnancy. At times, I felt less like a patient receiving individualized care and more like I was being processed through a system. If you want to feel like a cow being led through a butcher shop rather than a person experiencing one of the most important moments of their life, this was unfortunately my experience. As a first-time mother, I was scared and had so many questions. After my baby was born, I asked one of the nurses to show me how to properly swaddle my newborn. Her response was, “I don’t know, you kind of just figure it out.” That lack of guidance and support during such an important moment was heartbreaking. Instead of feeling cared for and empowered during one of the most significant experiences of my life, I felt rushed, dismissed, and unsupported. I truly feel robbed of the positive first-time motherhood experience I had hoped for. I share this review because I believe expectant mothers deserve compassionate care, clear communication, and staff who are willing to educate and support them during such a life-changing time.
