I had appalling experiences here, being shamed by nurses, and dismissed by doctors. They violated my friend’s medical privacy and misdiagnosed her gynecological injury. They weren’t the first to dismiss and misdiagnose severe asthma and bronchitis but they were the rudest. Save your money and go to an urgent care within your network instead.
Tried to charge me a $40 late cancellation fee when I had just made the appointment 10 minutes prior. Please don’t waste your time with them.
They Don’t Care About Your Health — Just Your Money I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with the student health center was frustrating enough that I feel the need to warn others. The lack of professionalism and urgency is honestly shocking for a place meant to serve students’ well-being and being affordable. They just want you to come in so they can bill you for as much as possible. They don't accept most health insurances, so you're better off going to urgent care and spending less money. They also state that if you do not have health insurance, they offer a discounted price which is NOT TRUE. They just double charge you. It's incredibly disheartening that a place meant to support students prioritizes profit over people. I would not recommend this health center to any student, look elsewhere if you want to be taken seriously and treated with compassion. One provider in particular was extremely dismissive and rude for working in women's health. She should definitely not be working as a healthcare provider if she is making rude remarks, displayed visible annoyance, and is treating concerns as if they were an inconvenience. If you can, please go somewhere else. :)
Went in for painful ears and loss of hearing— The RN practitioner was very rude and told me it was just allergies and that I was just overthinking. They charged me $148 just for my symptoms to get worse so now I have to go to an ENT which I barely have the money for. I am not usually one to write reviews, but this was a horrible experience.
They charged me $97 for visit despite having health insurance. This is more expensive than going to a regular urgent care. The doctor that saw me was very kind however, I was told I would not have to pay for anything and that my health insurance covered it and then was sent an email two weeks later saying I owed close to a $100 Edit: They had changed the charge to $180, I called them and was met with a rude woman over the phone who told me that no one in the office would ever tell me that, despite the person who checked me out verbatim said “we take your insurance you’re all good to leave” I then called up my insurance company to find out that they had not billed nor attempted to bill the insurance company. Do not go here if you are a student and in need of care, not only were they unprofessional but also blatantly lied to my face and charged me an exorbitant amount of money for sub par service.
