I’ve been coming to SEV Laser for a little over six months now, and I absolutely love it. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the technicians are knowledgeable, professional, and make you feel completely comfortable. If you’re looking for effective laser hair removal with little to no pain, I highly recommend this location. I’ve been on my hair removal journey for almost a year, and since coming to SEV, I’ve seen a huge improvement in my results. Definitely worth it!

Always a top notch experience whenever I come here from beginning to end. The front desk people are nice and welcoming. They always answer any questions you have with thoughtful consideration. Today, May 23, 2026, I went in for a new treatment I had never tried before, and I was a bit nervous. Leslie was so polite and informative. Her directions were so clear, and she gave me the utmost respect. I came in tense and left completely at ease. I even booked a package for future sessions. They are quiet sales people here, and I truly appreciate it. Their services are impeccable. And as a Black woman living in this country, it means the world to me to know there is a place that I feel safe and can trust to do things right by me. I HIGHLY recommend SEV Laser on Mckinney. I’ve gone to SEV for five sessions so far and the session I had today with Leslie was truly outstanding! She was extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable. For the first time ever I felt absolutely no pain. Leslie is the best technician I’ve been to and I will always ask for her every time going forward. 10/10

I wanted to share my experience with Sev Laser here in Dallas. After moving recently, I was on the lookout for a new laser hair removal spot and saw a sponsored ad on Instagram offering a free treatment on a small area for new clients. I booked my appointment for today at 12:05. I arrived just 7 minutes late, and initially the front girl told me to please be seated and that the nurse would call me in. Then she asked my name again and immediately said I was late with no grace period and could only come back at 3:30. Keep in mind, I drove over 30 minutes to get there, and driving back and forth just didn’t make sense. I explained that the parking and the location itself were confusing—I had accidentally entered the west tower before realizing Sev Laser was in the east tower. The front desk staff seriously need better training on how to handle minor issues like being 7 minutes late and how to address customers professionally. This could've been handled way better. The free treatment was only going to take about 10 minutes, so rescheduling me hours later felt ridiculous. I ended up telling the front desk girl to cancel my appointment completely. I was really looking forward to becoming a long-term client, but after this experience, I won’t be coming back. Even my friends who are clients at this location have decided to stop going after hearing how I was treated.

I have mixed feelings about this salon. I've been coming here for about two years and have had multiple areas treated. My last visit was especially frustrating from start to finish. Before the appointment, they texted asking me to arrive five minutes early because my appointment was at the end of the day and they didn't want to run over time. I told them I would try, but I was coming directly from work. I managed to arrive early… only to find that they weren't ready for me. This appointment was in a different room with a new technician, and something seemed off from the beginning. This was probably my fifth treatment for this area, so I know what kind of results to expect. Unfortunately, the results were by far the worst I've ever had. After the usual waiting period and plenty of exfoliation, I would estimate that only about 10-20% of the hair shed. The technician also commented that my skin was darker than she expected, which made me wonder afterward whether the machine settings were adjusted appropriately. Whatever the reason, the treatment was very ineffective compared to my previous sessions. Paying over $100 for a single session and seeing such poor results is extremely disappointing. To top it off, when I left, the parking validation didn't work. I had to back down a narrow parking aisle, repark, run back upstairs before the staff left, and ask them to validate the ticket again. Overall, I wouldn't say this is a bad salon, but I also wouldn't call it exceptional. Lasers are scary, and I don’t want to risk it. Given the inconsistent experiences, I don't think it offers the value that its pricing suggests.
