I had an extremely disappointing experience at this gynecology office. I went in for a yeast infection and vaginal dryness. When speaking to the provider about dryness, I was told the solution was “more foreplay”—completely dismissive advice. I was also told to use a blow dryer on my vagina, apply Aquaphor, and take Benadryl for itching, which is medically inappropriate. I had to call the office myself to get my lab results. They prescribed the wrong medication for my bacterial infection and only an external itch cream while I waited. For a woman-owned and run clinic focused on women’s health, this level of care is unacceptable. I left feeling ignored, frustrated, and profoundly disappointed.

It’s very hard to find someone who truly understands the perimenopause and menopause journey. Trust me, I’ve searched. I’ve been passed from my OBGYN to my primary doctor, to my neurologist, and none of them seemed to connect the dots between my symptoms and perimenopause or menopause. Meeting Misty was an absolute blessing. She was thorough, fast, and genuinely attentive. From my very first the time I entered the building to being called to the back, everything moved smoothly and efficiently. The fact that they accepted my insurance was a huge relief, but what stood out most was that Misty immediately recognized what I was dealing with. I deeply appreciate how intentional she was about reviewing my lab work and ensuring she had accurate readings before continuing care. She truly listened. The entire staff from the amazing ladies at the front desk, medical assistants to the lady who drew my labs, were kind, professional, and compassionate. Even the other young lady I spoke with while getting my labs drawn in the office were warm and understanding. It’s been a long time since I’ve visited a medical office and felt that people genuinely cared and respect each other. I’m beyond grateful for their compassion and quality of care, and I’ll absolutely be recommending them to others. Andrea

Misty is very attentive and knowledgeable. She takes a personal approach to each patient. She has helped with my thyroid issues and medication and overall health. I’m glad I found this practice.
