Total Health Primary Care - Frisco Star

I had appointment at their Frisco location today and it was great. Very friendly staff and Doctor asked relevant questions. Very easy for us to reschedule last minute appointment timing. I was there for annual check and it was breeze. Still waiting for result but overall process was good and thorough.

My son went in for a medication visit this morning. He’s first time to go in by himself as an 18 year old adult. He called me after his appointment to tell me it went great. He said the staff was nice and helpful explaining his visit. So glad it went great for him!

I've been going to Total Men's and Total Health Primary Care locations for over 5 years now and there has been a consistent decline in service and processes designed to extract as much money from patient as possible. For T-shots, they will literally call on the morning of the appointment that they cannot administer it due to staffing or blood tests needed, and reschedule the visits needed for the urgent medication. I've had them do a blood test friday, tell me to donate blood monday, come in and do another blood test that monday, to tell me Tuesday to donate more blood. Then I get to come in Wednesday and do another blood test, and only then if it looks good, I'll get my shot. I've had half a dozen issues like this over the past few years. They have little regard over the schedules of their patients and want to maximize the number of visits you make to the clinic to ensure their billables remain high. Patient care is secondary to them wanting to create as many appointments as they can. I should not have to be in the clinic on Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, in hopes I get approved for my weekly shot on Friday nor do I think it's safe for them to recommend I donate blood in consecutive days. I will be finding another place to get what I need, please think twice about sending your business to Total Health as there are much better options.

I had a very frustrating experience at Total Health Primary Care. When I booked the appointment, I explained my symptoms to the receptionist so they knew exactly why I needed to be seen. They still scheduled the appointment without mentioning any issues. When I arrived, I was required to pay before the visit, which I did. However, after I was taken back, I was told they couldn’t even test me because they had run out of tests. The doctor then simply told me to go home and take Tylenol. It’s extremely disappointing to take time off, drive to an appointment, and pay for a visit only to be told they don’t have the basic supplies needed to evaluate your symptoms. If they knew they were out of tests, they should have informed me before scheduling or before taking payment. Overall, this felt like a waste of time and money, and the lack of communication was very unprofessional.

Total care primary care - this lab is for all and not just for men. I went there for my annual physical . I think it is by Quest diagnostic. One can get their test done here really quick no line but one has to take appointment online beforehand. On request they also did my Covid test too. There was no line there but online it was showing no slots available for few weeks. Nurse was great . Did not get proper response from doctor after my lab results . Looks like she was in some hurry and went through all my lab results in few minutes while nurse was taking my blood for another lab test to confirm some results.
