Such disrespect!!! The lab at this location SHOULD BE KINDER AND ACCOMMODATING to and for our veterans. We arrived, pulled a number, and sat for almost 2 hours. We witnessed them removing the ticket dispenser at approximately 2pm. It seemed we'd just made the cut off. A young woman arrived, knocked on their door, and was let into the drawing area. Next, an employee emerged stating that the clinic was closed for the day and no one else would be seen. She said, "You can come back tomorrow." At this point, there were 2 others who made the number cutoff. When questioned about this abrupt, unprofessional, and fallible process, she stated that the medical courier had arrived and for that reason, the last 3 veterans could not and WOULD NOT be assisted. Thus, she reiterated the choice to return the following day. Apparently upset, I questioned this timing, sharing that we'd moved other appointments around due to the lengthy and unforeseen wait time. Finally, I asked who to escalate my complaint to. She suggested contacting the PCP. I assured her that someone higher needed to be made aware. She then mentioned patient advocate. Side note: During the wait time, many forms of disrespect were shown to other veterans in the clinic. Additionally, there needs to be a check and balance in place. A lady who was waiting to be seen had pulled 3 numbers. We heard her say (twice) that her husband had gotten a number. However, her "husband" never appeared, BUT she handed 2 other women those extra tickets.

This was a terrible experience from start to finish. The triage staff member taking vitals was not wearing a name badge and refused to identify credentials when asked. The physician was rude and condescending and focused more on making us feel as though we were wrong for seeking care than on providing help. In contrast, we had an excellent experience at the Atlanta VA and would strongly recommend going there instead

I had the worse treatment from my PCP at this location I am a veteran and she constantly refused to take down my notes. Tried to deny every problem I have with MRI and medical research I felt discriminated against at the least she held a bias that was unsupported. She lied about my illnesses and my injuries and made excuses to do my FLMA paperwork. I complained that I was scared to lose control while driving she ignored my pleas. I had a traffic accident driving home from work thank GOD no one was hurt but I blame her for not listening to me and refusing to give me proper care.

I went to the clinic because I got my original glasses prescription there and when I got my new ones I couldn't see out of them. So I went back and they turned me away because it was actually the downtown VA that called me about coming in to have them fixed. The clinic apparently doesn't do walk-ins but the Medical Center is so busy there were 10 people waiting to be seen at 3pm on a Tuesday. I have battled with the VA for years about my problems. They have NEVER fixed anything or helped me in a way that I wanted them to or in a way that was beneficial to me. The VA is proficient at "passing-the-buck" and creating the appearance of caring for me without actually meaning it.

I have received adequate service at the VA... my problem only lays with the transportation department... they rarely answer the phone , and it's extremely difficult too arrange transportation to appointments... and they make it very unfriendly for disabled veterans too obtain transportation too VA scheduled appointments.... they often (laugh) whenever the phone operator transfers too the transportation 's phone extension..." like it's a well known problem throughout the system that never let's addressed...causes many veterans problems and often forces veterans too miss appointments..not too mention how they constantly change thier rules without addressing the veterans population that rely on VAz Transportation.... thy have some really good drivers, but the administration stufff is some of the worst that I've ever had too deal with as a veteran and citizen.
