I cannot thank everyone at Prime Health enough. I lost 40 lbs and have been able to keep it off for 4 years with their help. Every provider is so thorough in managing different aspects of my care (weight & hormones). The commitment to their patients is unmatched.

I scheduled a consultation at this practice to transfer care for ongoing hormone therapy. Unfortunately, I was informed during the visit, not beforehand, that a current mammogram was required before treatment could be prescribed and that estradiol would not be continued unless I met their criteria for menopause. I am not fully menopausal. While I understand clinics have policies and safety standards, these requirements were not communicated at the time of scheduling. I asked the scheduling staff direct questions prior to my visit to try and mitigate any barriers to me receiving a continuance of treatment. All they provided was continual reassurance of my inquiries. Had I known the truth upfront, I would have completed the necessary screening in advance or found a provider that could assist with all areas of hormone therapy I need. As a result, the visit did not accomplish the purpose for which it was scheduled. Patients paying privately deserve clear upfront communication about eligibility requirements and prescribing limitations. I would encourage the practice to implement better intake screening so patients can determine whether this clinic is the right fit before committing to an appointment.

Sara and her staff of practitioners helped me find myself again. After two very traumatic births and a season of personal loss and grief, I no longer recognized myself in the mirror and I hated what I saw. I cannot begin to tell you how much this program helped me get through menopause! The weight would not come off at all no matter what I did. I learned my metabolism was not working as it did in my 30-40-50’s I needed a jump start and that’s what happened when I started here !! The weekly check in is key for me as it’s constant support, it doesn’t take long so I can work it into my day! The whole team at Prime health in Alpharetta are amazing at what they do, I love seeing them!! If you want to lose weight healthily, and keep it off go here!! They also take insurance!!
