I had a really disappointing and stressful experience with Serenity. I was an established patient with a current ADHD diagnosis and an active Adderall prescription. When my pharmacy showed my prescription as “in progress” and then “too soon,” I contacted Serenity to ask why it hadn’t gone through. I was trying to understand a pharmacy status message — Instead of explaining what was happening, Serenity treated my question as if I were requesting an early refill of a controlled substance. Shortly after that, I was discharged without warning, without a real explanation, and without any transition plan for continuity of care. This left me suddenly cut off from psychiatric care and medication management, even though I had not picked up medication early, lost medication, or violated any agreement. Messages I sent through the patient portal were not answered, and phone calls were not returned. Regardless of internal policies, abruptly terminating a patient without clear notice, clarification, or continuity of care is not how mental health treatment should be handled. If you rely on psychiatric medication, especially something tightly regulated like ADHD meds, this kind of communication breakdown can be seriously harmful. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this clinic ask very clear questions about how they handle prescriptions, refill timing, and patient communication before signing up.

I am doing TMS Therapy and it is awesome. The staff is so polite and kind. Monica and Erica show compassion and care, which makes it easier for me to truly tell my story of my life.

I truly can’t express how amazing my experience was coming to Serenity. TMS did wonders for me but the people are absolutely amazing. The kindness, the enthusiasm and just the kind of people that make you so comfortable and are so supportive. My TMS tech, Justin was absolutely incredible. He always made me feel comfortable and validated me. He truly cared and everyone there did too. It was amazing and I have mixed feelings about it being over. I truly loved coming in there every day, it made my heart so happy. Thank you all for such a great experience and for really helping me pour into myself.

I can’t even begin to express my love and gratitude I have for this practice! My physician is Bianca Mitchell and she had listened to me and took care of my needs professionally and had always been empathetic with me since I started seeing her. She seems to be passionate about what she does and I love and need that in someone on my care team. Even the ladies and gentlemen at the front of the office that check you in are like little rats of sunshine lol never had any bad experiences with anybody in the office. I feel loved every time I walk in. I recommend this office and this team of physicians to anybody looking to better their mental health and ACTUALLY get the help they need.

I originally sought Serenity because of adult A.D.D. Only a psychiatrist can prescribe those controlled meds. I was struggling at work to concentrate and manage things. I didn’t even know I had A.D.D. Until my son was diagnosed. Anyway, I met Dr. Jeong on a day that I wasn’t at my best. I wasn’t depressed but more anxious. I’m 50yrs old and going through perimenopause. I was explaining my symptoms and so on and she diagnosed me with depression. I used to be depressed as crap and suicidal as a young adult but Glory to God was delivered! Anyway, I told her I wasn’t depressed and she disagreed. Long story short I was prescribed depression meds to help alleviate symptoms. If you consider my age and look up research on hormones and perimenopause and depression symptoms, they are identical. We just agreed to disagree but the meds helped immediately regardless of the root cause. Fine. She said it might help with adhd symptoms and appetite also. I just had my last visit with Dr. Jeong yesterday. She is leaving this practice which I thought was a bummer. It’s hard to keep starting over with therapists. Fine. She told me I would be transferred for care to a nurse practitioner whether she stayed or not. She said a FEW times that I wasn’t “her” patient. I said, “well whose patient am I because I’ve only seen you.” She said I was Serenity’s patient. I said, “don’t you work for Serenity?” I didn’t feel cared about by her. She’s very nice and may work well for someone else but she was way younger than me and sometimes I think regardless of education, there may not be enough life experience that can affect one’s optics. Honestly, I came into the appt in a fantastic mood. Paid a hefty $234 deductible and left low and disappointed. I kept telling her I needed A.D.D. Support from the jump. Now I gotta start alllll over again with somebody else. More money more money and more money. My 3 stars are for the fantastic and enthusiastic staff interacted with at the front desk and at discharge and for the fact that the meds worked. I live in Acworth and this office is not close but closer to my job than my home. That’s all I got.
