Freeman Medical Clinic and Life Coaching is truly a one of a kind practice. The combination of medical care and life coaching is something I did not know I needed until I experienced it here. The staff is compassionate, attentive and takes a genuine interest in your overall well being, not just your immediate symptoms. Every appointment feels thorough and unhurried, and I always leave feeling heard and supported. The holistic approach they take to health and wellness has made a real difference in my life. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough to anyone looking for care that goes beyond the ordinary.

After nearly nine years as a patient of Dr. Georgeanne Freeman, I am genuinely stunned by how my care ended. I spent almost a decade trusting this physician with my healthcare. In return, I was met with some of the most dismissive, insensitive, and unprofessional behavior I have ever experienced from a medical provider. During my appointment, Dr. Freeman agreed to refill my prescriptions and informed me that I would need to complete a urinalysis before my next refill. The following day, I discovered that no prescriptions had been sent to my pharmacy. When I contacted the office to find out what had happened, I was told that I and a witness "could not remember a simple conversation" regarding the timing of the urinalysis requirement. Rather than clarifying the misunderstanding, Dr. Freeman chose to discharge me as a patient and refuse further treatment. What happened next was even more disturbing. While discussing my PTSD and anxiety, Dr. Freeman stated: "I just don't understand why you can't manage your anxiety. People in Auschwitz were able to sleep through the night just fine." I never imagined that after nearly nine years under a physician's care, I would be compared to "people in Auschwitz" in a conversation about my mental health. It was callous, offensive, historically ignorant, and completely inappropriate for a medical professional. Of all the things I expected to hear from a doctor, being told that Holocaust victims somehow managed their trauma better than I do was not one of them. The complete lack of empathy displayed in that moment was breathtaking. Patients seek medical care because they are vulnerable. They trust their physicians with their health, their personal struggles, and often their deepest fears. To respond to a patient discussing PTSD and anxiety with a comparison to people imprisoned in Auschwitz demonstrates a level of insensitivity that I find impossible to reconcile with compassionate patient care. After almost a decade as a loyal patient, I left feeling dismissed, degraded, and profoundly disappointed. Whatever trust I once had in this practice was destroyed in a matter of minutes. This was, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with a healthcare provider.

As a physical therapist, I really value providers who take the time to sit down one-on-one, listen carefully, and address questions without making you feel rushed. That has been my experience here from the start. The team is professional, thorough, and approachable, which makes it easy to feel comfortable as a new patient. I’m confident I’ve found a primary care clinic where the focus is truly on patient-centered care.

Place was beyond clean and the staff was so nice and personable. You can tell they genuinely care and know what they are talking about. So glad I found a good and fast clinic I can go to since I’ve moved here.
