I visited Paragon Round Rock Infusion Center for an infusion, and while I appreciate the service overall, I must express concern about the repeated issues I’ve had with one of the nurses, Christina. This is the second time she has handled my infusion, and both times she appeared unsure of the procedure. It took her 5–8 minutes to complete something that should be routine, and the process left my arm in significant pain. I do not expect this level of difficulty from a trained medical professional, especially at a facility I am paying for. I strongly encourage the center to improve training and supervision for newer staff. Patients deserve confidence in the care they receive. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures this issue is resolved.

Everyone at this facility is very nice. The admitting nurse, Elizabeth, was extremely polite, competent, and completely answered my questions and dug deeper into my other illnesses. The chairs are awesome. I was there 3 hours and it went by very quickly. I highly recommend then. From a life well lived :)

I had an appointment yesterday that had been scheduled for 3 months, and the experience was extremely frustrating. After arriving on time, an IV was placed, and only then was I informed that the medication I was scheduled to receive wasn’t even there. At first, I was told they could get it from their Austin location and that it should arrive within the hour. After waiting about an hour and a half, I asked how much longer it might be, and that’s when I was informed they had actually gone to Kyle instead — without asking if I was willing or able to wait that long — and it would still be another half hour before it arrived. I waited another 45 minutes, said I was done waiting and wanted to leave, and was told that was understandable. At that point, I was told the person picking it up was still at least 45 minutes away, at this point it was more than 2 hours past my initial appointment time. Never once did I get an update on anything from my nurse without me having to stop her, or have another nurse get her, in order to ask what was going on. This entire situation was unacceptable. A 3-month-scheduled appointment should have ensured the medication was ready in advance. Instead, I was left with an IV in place for hours, given inaccurate updates, and ultimately received no treatment at all. It showed a complete lack of preparation, communication, and respect for my time. On top of this, there have been constant billing issues over the past 3 months, with the clinic billing me directly instead of filing through the pharmaceutical company’s copay coverage program for this medication, which is secondary to my UHC coverage.

Love going to Paragon Infusion Center. The staff is capable to do blood work, ivs, give meds, access ports and do vitals. It is never crowded. There are tvs if you want to watch while getting your infusion. They also offer blankets, have coffee/tea, sodas, water and snacks. The bathrooms are clean and the Round Rock location is much easier to get to than the Austin one. The Round Rock location is not too far from I 35. All staff is very helpful and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone. They also work well with the physician who ordered the infusion.

I've be coming to Paragon for a year and a half for my treatment, which is just a shot. The nurse assigned to me and I have had a constant personality conflict. Time before last I asked her to give my shot to me a little slower. She said she always gives it slow. It hurts every single time and that's why I asked. She was out in March and another nurse gave me the injection. It didn't even hurt. She's been snarky, kept me waiting and even challenged me about something I said on the phone about my appointment, which got totally misconstrued. I called and spoke to the director about changing nurses and she said she really couldn't do that. I'm done there! This kind of behavior should not be tolerated. Front desk people are wonderful but That's It!
