ATX Hyperbarics - Round Rock

Today I visited the ATX Hyperbaric facility in Round Rock, TX. Being that I just retired from working In HBO for 44 years, I wanted to see what others were doing in hyperbarics. I am very pleased to say that I was impressed with their setup, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and use of hard-sided chambers. Grace and Joseph were very accommodating and made my brief visit enjoyable.

There is a lot of great data re hyperbaric o2 on post op inflammation wound healing autoimmune issues and neurologic injury. This location is clean convenient and reasonably priced. Cody & Joseph are super friendly and professional. Loved just chatting w them. Super flexible w the schedule too which was awesome for me! These are the chambers not the tents so get more oxygen delivery and its a more confined space. I found it very comfortable however. You cant use your phone in there due to fire risks but you can bring a book (and they have cool neuro books there too) or take a nap or meditate. I actually made myself think about some work stuff id been dreading to deal with for a long time b/c I had just been distracting myself w/ other things- but this forced me to take action as soon as I was done w/ my session- so thank you for that added benefit too!

We did 15 treatments for our son (9 years old). The staff were very helpful and explained the whole process. I got to go in chamber with him which was great. He felt safe with me in there. We went slow to get to the right pressure so his ears could adjust. If we needed to go slower we could just let them know with the walkie talkie.

Really have appreciated Cody and Joseph! They were so patient with me as I got familiarized with the treatment and checked in on me frequently. Truly made a difference in my experience, thank you!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I have an extremely rare auto inflammatory disease called Sweets Syndrome that was absolutely destroying my quality of life!! I was having daily flare ups that consisted of chronic inflammation, joint and bone pain, all different forms of chronic skin inflammation like hives lesions and nodules, accompanied with flu like symptoms. I saw 6 doctors/specialists—not one of them knew anything about my condition nor did they take any time at all to research or try to help me other than giving me outrageous doses of steroids that only temporarily masked the symptoms. Many specialists have declined referrals & refuse to see me because they don’t know about the disease. Nichole, their nurse practitioner, has been the only medical professional who actually listened to all my concerns & took the time to research my condition! I’m only 16 sessions in and I’ve not had one flare up, I feel brand new. This has been absolutely life changing. This place and the people who work here are genuinely here to help treat conditions without any bandaids that just cause more problems. 10/10 would recommend to anyone seeking medical help for the majority of medical issues.
