Jeannette is a true professional! I just had my first Brazilian laser session with her and honestly, she exceeded my expectations. It’s a sensitive area, but she was super professional: she explained everything step by step, assessed my skin type and hair, and kept checking in constantly to see how I was feeling. The equipment is modern, and the place is spotless and welcoming. After just one session, I can already tell the hair is growing back much slower, it’s finer, and my skin feels calmer (way less irritation than with shaving or waxing). I love that it’s fully customized, you can choose to leave a little strip on top or go completely bare. Fair prices, she’s always on time, and zero rush. 100% recommended for Brazilian laser. I can’t remember how many years ago I wrote my original review, but I’m back! Jeanette has done laser, hair removal on my legs and bikini area, and now my upper lip. I don’t have enough eyebrows, so she just shaped those. I just refilled the facial products that I need this time around and I cannot recommend her expertise and bedside manner more. Over the past 10 years or so, I just told Jeanette what I need, and she gets it done. She runs a very comfortable, clean and casual salon, and she gets right down to business. I appreciate that very much. She's also got great products. I want all of it! This is the best place for laser hair removal!! I have completed 5 sessions so far on my lower body and already have amazing results, even after just my first session! The spa is clean and inviting, carries great products, offers a good variety of services, and the pricing cannot be beat!! I did so much research before deciding on Bare Body Spa for a multitude of reasons, but I never found a spa in Austin with cheaper prices for laser! Jeannette is so wonderful to work with, she’s extremely knowledgeable and does such a good, thorough job. She always makes sure you’re comfortable and is really accommodating during your sessions so that you have the best results beyond just hair removal. I have incredibly sensitive skin and sometimes it reacts to the laser more during some sessions where I get a lot of redness. At the end of each session, she treats the area with aloe/lotions/sunscreens which is very soothing and relaxing. But when my skin gets more red than usual, Jeannette is so quick to make sure I’m feeling okay and goes above and beyond by treating those areas with even more soothing/cooling products which I really appreciate. She genuinely wants the best for you and shares the excitement over your results. I always look forward to my appointments with her! I truly couldn’t recommend a place more and I’m so happy I found it!! I have always been insecure about my body hair and would often be in pain as a result of shaving due to my sensitive skin, but thanks to Jeannette I have gained so much confidence and am a lot more physically comfortable. I cannot wait to laser more areas and try out some of her other services. 😊
