Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery - Lamar Central

I’ve had great experiences at Westlake Dermatology on North Lamar every time I’ve gone. Dr. Shahbaz and Dr. Tomc are both knowledgeable, and skilled. Katie Hill the aesthetician and Macy Wise, RN are excellent at delivering cosmetic procedures. I’ve especially enjoyed interacting with the medical assistants at the practice, namely Epiphani, Bianca, Sydney, Bella and Vivian!

I want to start by saying if you’re looking for Botox, Macy Wise is the girl!!!!! I had an amazing experience from start to finish, the front desk staff was super kind and welcoming. From the moment Macy pulled me back she was kind, informative, and allowed for me to ask all of the questions I had. Not to mention- my results are AMAZING. I love how we were able to achieve plastic surgery looking results with just facial balancing with dysport. Thank you so much Macy and the team at Westlake Dermatology Central Lamar!

Dr. Tomc and Epiphani were exceptionally kind, thorough, and caring. They take the time to listen, answer questions, and explain everything clearly. Their professionalism is matched by their warm, personable approach, which makes every visit comfortable and reassuring. I always feel that my concerns are taken seriously and that I am receiving excellent care. They truly provide the perfect combination of expertise, compassion, and outstanding patient service.

If I could give more stars I would! Dr. Shahbaz was highly recommended by a friend so I came in to see him and will never go anywhere else now. His bedside manner was very thoughtful, caring and reassuring. He practices evidence base medicine and can tell he is up to date in all aspects of cosmetic surgery, lasers and injectables! After moving to Tarrytown from out of town I was hesitant of finding a new doctor. I can confidently say he is an expert in his craft! Westlake Dermatology is lucky to have him as a dermatologist!

I went to Westlake Derm about 10 years ago (downtown location), they were wonderful and thorough. They checked every inch of me for bad moles. So I returned (triangle location). They didn’t check any moles unless I pointed them out, they wouldn’t remove the ones that irritated me the most even though my insurance covers 2 a year, they then removed one mole (thankful) and now billing me. I won’t be returning.
