Today I treated myself to the Happy, Happier, Happiest package at Hiatus Spa, and it did NOT disappoint! I walked in exhausted and walked out completely refreshed. Since I arrived early, I was able to enjoy a relaxing shower before my services began. I stored my belongings in the complimentary lockers, slipped into a cozy robe and slippers, and immediately felt the stress start to melt away. I relaxed in the lounge until it was time for my massage, and my massage therapist was wonderful. Before we began, she took the time to ask questions and learn about my preferences, areas of tension, and what I hoped to get out of my experience. It was clear she genuinely cared about my needs. Of course, I added a few extras, and they were absolutely worth it! Next was my facial. To be honest, my last facial experience elsewhere wasn’t great, but my husband encouraged me to give it another try with someone new. I’m so glad I listened! My esthetician asked about my current skincare routine, helped determine what would be best for my skin that day, and even explained what products and treatments I should avoid for a few days afterward. She checked in with me throughout the service, making me feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in her expertise. The result? My skin is GLOWING. Seriously glowing! I will definitely be requesting her again. I ended my spa day with the Essential Mani & Pedi, and it was the perfect finish. Her smile immediately made me smile! There is just something about lying back in a zero-gravity chair, eyes covered, while being completely pampered that changes the entire experience. How am I supposed to go back to a basic massage chair now? I can’t. I’m officially spoiled! From start to finish, every part of my experience at Hiatus Spa exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the exceptional staff made this one of the most relaxing and enjoyable self-care days I’ve had in a long time. I can’t wait to come back and do it all over again!

I booked a mani/pedi and brow lamination here and was told upon arrival that my brow lamination appt had to be rebooked because they double booked me. Waited in the waiting area for my mani/pedi when 20 minutes later they came and told me they had had a scheduling error and needed to reschedule my mani/pedi. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened with scheduling cancellations and issues. There always seems to be some issue, including some really bad massages. Elisabeth is great at massage, but everything else is pretty disappointing.

I loved my first experience at Hiatus! The overall atmosphere was very relaxing and my masseuse Melinda was incredible! I also think their memberships are reasonably priced, the combination of service quality and price is really what made me sign up as a member.

I would give zero stars if I could, but apparently that would require “48 hours notice.” I had an appointment scheduled for 2:00 PM. At approximately 1:12 PM, my vehicle was struck by what I can only describe as a moderately sized meteor. Not a pebble. Not “debris.” A full, cinematic, end-of-dinosaurs, glowing-from-the-sky celestial rock. My windshield vaporized. The hood of my car folded like a croissant. I briefly saw my ancestors. Naturally, I called the med spa to explain that I would not be able to make my hydrafacial because my transportation had been annihilated by space. Their response? “I’m so sorry, but our cancellation policy requires 24 hours notice.” Ma’am. I did not receive 24 hours notice from NASA. I explained that: • My car was actively smoking. • There was a small crater forming where my front tire used to be. • The sky still smelled like cosmic regret. They offered to reschedule — with a fee. So just to clarify: If your vehicle is obliterated by extraterrestrial impact and you are temporarily assessing your place in the universe, this establishment will still charge you $75. Customer care? None. Empathy? Extinct. Dinosaurs? Also extinct — and now I understand why. Would not recommend unless you have meteor insurance and a time machine.

Always love coming into the spa monthly for a massage, facial, or body treatment. Andrea provides an amazing facial and Lynn and Mart are experts in massage. Highly recommend.
